MY APPROACH

I believe in a holistic approach to singing instruction that makes for meaningful progress.

Our voices carry deep power, and therefore vulnerability. I believe my job as your instructor is to guide you toward confidence and more easeful creative expression.

I prioritize vocal technique and vocal health while guiding development of organic creativity and harmony between mind and body.

I’ve had the privledge of working with hundreds of students in my ten years teaching experience. Prior to running my own private music studio, I’ve been employed as a voice instructor out of multiple music education and performing arts institutions, including: Brooklyn Music School, Expressions Music Academy, the University Musical Society, Dance Dynamics, and Detroit’s Third Wave Music Shop.

I hold a degree in Jazz Voice from the University of Michigan’s School of Music, Theater and Dance.
