GROUP SINGING CLASS FOR ADULTS

ABOUT
This 10-week course is the perfect class for adults who are new to singing or who are interested in coming back to singing after time away from the practice.
Together with a class of no more than 8 students, this one-hour class is designed to be a safe place to discover the joy of singing through a variety of popular, folk and jazz songs while also learning foundations of breath support, harmony, and reading music.

SCHEDULE + LOCATION
I am running two options for weekly classes. Students can elect one of these times. We will meet in Brooklyn. The exact location is TBD, and depends on how many people end up enrolling.

Tuesdays 6-7p
Saturdays 11a-12p

FEE

Classes are on a sliding scale of $70 per hour session. Enrollment for the entire 10-week class is sliding scale $70. This fee includes the lessons as well as all materials (including sheet music, handouts, as well as a binder).

NOTE: I offer two financial aid scholarships every semester, which allows for a further reduced lesson fee. Please let me know if you’d like to be considered for this. I try to make lessons accessible to everyone who would like to learn.

PAYMENT METHODS

There are two options for payment for the group class.
1) Payment in full at the start of the class. Since this is an 10-week class, shorter than the standard fall term, I ask for payment in full for all classes at the start of the term. I can accept payment in check, cash, Zelle, Venmo or Paypal.
2) Payment in two parts. Half ($350) of the payment due at the time of the first class, and another half ($350) of the payment due at the time of the fifth class.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

- Once lessons are paid for, there are no refunds. The only exception to this is in the event that there is insufficient enrollment (less than 3 people), in which case I will cancel the class and offer refunds in-full.
- I maintain a 24-hour notice cancellation policy. I ask for payment-in-full for any no-shows or cancellations made less than 24-hours in advance of the lesson start time.
- I reserve the right to modify the schedule within reasonable means should I need to reschedule (48+ hours in advance). Should students not be available to make the rescheduled class time, I will offer a 1-hour private lesson in lieu of, at the same price, which can be scheduled at a time that works for us both.
